Unexpected Rescue from a Cockroach Invasion: A Hack That Turned Out to Be Very Useful Source

Goodbye, cockroaches! This secret trick helped me get rid of unwelcome guests. There have been no cockroaches in my house for an entire year now.

And the recipe is very simple. đŸ˜± These ingredients are found in every kitchen. Details below 👇👇

When even a specialized pest control service couldn’t solve the problem, a resourceful woman took matters into her own hands — and won.

She shared a surprising recipe that rid her apartment of cockroaches for a whole year. The video quickly went viral — and no wonder, because the method turned out to be not only effective but also extremely affordable.

After a costly but useless professional treatment, the homeowner was desperate: the insects continued to roam freely in the kitchen, crawling into cabinets and hiding in dark corners.

Then she decided to conduct some “home chemistry,” using simple kitchen ingredients. Boiled egg, potato, sugar, and a proven remedy — boric acid.
How did she do it?

Boil the egg and potato (in the microwave, a pot, or even an air fryer) and mash them into a puree.

Mix the egg-potato puree with sugar in equal parts. The sugar serves as bait — its sweet smell attracts the cockroaches.

Then, add a double dose of boric acid — this kills the insects from the inside after they’ve “eaten” the bait
Form small balls from the mixture, which can easily be placed in empty egg carton sections. These “bombs” should be placed in strategic locations: behind the stove, under the sink, in cabinet corners, and along the baseboards.

Important note: The remedy is truly effective, but it should not be left within reach of children or pets — boric acid is not lethal to humans but can be toxic if ingested.
