Tiktok Star Anna Grace Phelan Dies At 19 After Courageous Battle With Brain Cancer

According to her family, Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old influencer who shared her battle with cancer and her unwavering faith on TikTok, has sadly passed away.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce our beloved daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” stated a message shared on her social media platforms.

“So many of you have accompanied her on this challenging journey through cancer and have witnessed her compelling testimony of faith,” the message continued.

“Thank you for the countless thousands of prayers for her healing and peace. Let us all take comfort in the knowledge that she is now in Heaven, and she has been healed.”

In September, Phelan first revealed to her followers that she was battling brain cancer. She detailed the symptoms that led to her diagnosis, which included numbness on the left side of her face and the right side of her leg, along with issues related to her eyesight and balance.I began to lose my balance,” she remarked in one video. “I started experiencing vision issues in my left eye, and the numbness in my face and leg persists. My speech has begun to sound unusual. My mind feels very foggy.”

After undergoing a biopsy, Phelan received a diagnosis of glioblastoma, a highly aggressive and untreatable type of brain cancer, following an MRI that revealed a mass in her brain.

“This is undoubtedly the most challenging news I have ever received,” she expressed in a TikTok shared in September. “This is certainly not easy. I will simply trust in the Lord and strive to keep moving forward.”

Drawing strength from her Christian faith, Phelan continued to provide candid and sincere updates regarding her health in the subsequent months, motivating others to do the same.

Her story resonated with thousands, who found comfort in her grace and resilience.

In her latest video, she delivered a sobering update on her health while unwrapping a get-well gift sent by Tim Tebow.

She expressed to her followers, “Things have not been well. My tumor has increased in size and is located in an area that affects my ability to breathe. Surgery is not an option. Therefore, I wanted to extend my gratitude for all the prayers. A miracle would be necessary, but I am not ready to give up just yet. If you continue to pray for me, I believe I will pull through.”

As stated in her obituary, Phelan is set to be interred in the church cemetery following her funeral on Thursday at Galilee Christian Church in Jackson County, Georgia.

Over $65,000 has been raised for Phelan via a GoFundMe campaign initiated after her diagnosis.

She is survived by her parents, William “Buddy” Phelan and Nadine Phelan, along with her brother Harper David Phelan and her extended family.
