Francisco San Martin, a Spanish-born actor known for Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful, has died at 39. He was found in his Los Angeles home on Jan. 16, with the coroner ruling his death a suicide by hanging. Born in Mallorca in 1985 and raised in Montana, San Martin began acting in children’s theater before returning to Spain to model and study acting. He appeared in numerous Spanish productions before gaining recognition in U.S. daytime soaps, also appearing in Behind the Candelabra, Jane the Virgin, and other TV roles.
